
This is from an older shoot, but it illustrates a point. Sometimes, you have to make do with what you have on set. I booked a shoot with my buddy Jase (pictured above) but was unable to get the clothes for the shoot that I wanted. So, in the 11th hour, I whipped together a wardrobe from my own closet. The outfit is complete with a Billy Reid Jacket, Fossil vest and shirt, Levis jeans and Mark Nason boots.
Again, this photo has amazingly simple light. I used north light from a window in the studio and the highlight on Jase's face is achieved with a small soft box behind the subject.
